Michel Legrand - A Lifetime of Exquisite Melody, in association with City Lights Entertainment (UK). The legendary French-born composer and pianist has been creating wonderful music for over half a century.

Michel is a virtuoso jazz and classical pianist and an accomplished arranger who performs all over the World with 3 Academy awards, 5 Grammys, 2 Palmes D’Or, 1 Bafta and a Golden Globe to his name. His most famous compositions and collaborations, with lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman, are modern standards: “The Windmills of Your Mind”, “The Summer of ’42” and “What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life?”. He has composed and scored music for more than 200 films, TV shows and musicals, including the Oscar winning “Summer of ’42”, “The Thomas Crown Affair”, “Ice Station Zebra” and “Les Parapluies de Cherbourg” (“The Umbrellas of Cherbourg”).

For this special Festival Concert, Michel will be accompanied by bassist Geoff Gascoyne and drummer Sebastian DeKrom as he sings and plays the magnificent Steinway grand piano.
