Author talk with professional author of adult and children’s literature.
Lissa is also a former BBC Producer for Have I Got News for You and Father Ted.
Radio Kent presenter Anna Cookson will be hosting the evening.

Margaret Atwood – Live in Cinemas

The wait is over….The Testaments, Margaret Atwood’s
highly anticipated sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale, is revealed. The momentous
literary event will be celebrated with an exclusive live cinema broadcast, as Fane Productions
present an evening with the Canadian novelist, poet, literary critic and inventor.

Hear exclusive readings from the new book by special guests including Lily James, most recently
seen on stage starring in Ivo van Hove’s All About Eve. This will be an unmissable
and intimate event with Atwood, spotlighting her signature insight, humour and intellect.

BURN is a new drama about surviving your twenties. You’re old enough to do whatever you want, now what?
The real world is expensive, dating is hard, and your friends are too busy hustling from job to job.

Be warned this play contains references to sex, dating, drinking, drugs, vaping,
and plenty of swearing… all the good stuff (may not be suitable for under 12’s).

Page from Stage – New Writing night

The Written Voice Theatre Company, in association with The Stag, is delighted to present an exciting showcase of short new plays.

An evening of 20mins scripts by different writers. Minimal sets, props and costumes and specific
lighting changes will link each piece together. The plays will have different directors and casts.

Paint Like Monet

A relaxed, creative evening, you’ll walk away at the end of the event with your very own “Monet”.

All painting materials are provided and there will be guidance throughout with easy steps to follow,
although you are always welcome to do your own “thing” as well. No painting experience is required!

Flying the Flag
Community art project

A partnership project with Sevenoaks Visual Arts Forum (SVAF).

Celebrate the ten-year anniversary since Sevenoaks Town Council took over The Stag and the
formation of Sevenoaks Visual Arts Forum in this interactive art work. Design and produce your own bunting
flag to celebrate a Sevenoaks event from the last ten years and have it displayed across town.
