Outside the Box Comedy Club is back at the Stag Sevenoaks in July bringing top notch entertainers, Lee Hurst, Stephen Grant, Maff Brown and Paul McCaffery to the Stag Plaza.

Live comedy is an experience like no other. Every live event will have a one off specialness about it that will only happen in that moment. It could be one of our numerous unannounced special guests trying something out for a TV show, or it could be a perfect collaboration between the audience and the performer that would be unique and only privy to those who were there! You don't get that watching old re-runs on TV. Come and see Stand Up Comedy how it's meant to be and you can say "I was there when..."

UK comedy star Lee Hurst started his career on satiric gem "Have I Got News for You" before being signed on as a regular on sports quiz program "They Think It's All Over". Since then he has made several appearances on shows such as “The What In The World?” and "The Stand Up Show" along with creating and running the Backyard Comedy Club in East London which continues to showcase comedic talent from across the country.

Multi-award winning MC, and resident compere at Krater Comedy Club Brighton, Stephen Grant is an energetic host who never fails to pull in the laughs. He is a regular guest on "The Cutting Edge", has written for "Mock the Week" and also "Live at the Electric".

Resident host Maff Brown, creator of Outside the Box, is no stranger to the stage himself. Besides his own stand-up routines, performed not just in London but recently in Edinburgh and New York too, he has worked for ITV and Sky and has written for Omid Djalili. He has been hailed as “brilliant stand up” by Bill Bailey, and Frank Skinner said of him, “jokes fall out of him like gold coins coming out of a pirate’s chest”.

A regular fixture on talkSPORT radio’s “The Matt Forde Show”, and well known on the UK comedy circuit, Paul McCaffery brings a trademark straight-talking, self-depreciating style of humour to his performances. From Russell Kane's Whistle-Stop Tour to Russell Howard's Good News, Paul tells it to you as it is.
