  • Booking
    How to book Tickets can be booked in the following ways: Online at www.stagsevenoaks.co.uk; Over the phone (01732 450175) for collection from the box office. We regret we cannot deliver tickets by post. Or in person at the box office open Monday-Saturday 10am-8pm, Sunday 12pm-8pm To support the theatre and the provision of box office services, a £2 admin fee is charged per sale. Babes in arms (up to 12months) are welcomed for free to family shows and must be seated on a carer’s lap. All other children must have their own purchased seat. Please be prepared to take your child out of the auditorium if they cause a disturbance to other members of the audience. Latecomers will be admitted to shows at the discretion of the Front of House manager and when there is a suitable break in the performance. Gift vouchers are available from the box office and can be exchanged for theatre, Plaza and cinema events.
  • Disabled customers: If you or your guests would like a wheelchair or transfer seat, we are happy to help but they must be booked in advance. One companion/carer will be admitted free (*). We would ask that you let the box office know any specific requirements you have when you book

  • Facilities
    The Stag has a theatre, two cinemas, Plaza studio theatre and hall, cafe/bar, kiosk and toilets (including disabled and baby changing).
  • Access There is level access for one wheelchair in each cinema and for two wheelchairs in the auditorium. Level access is available throughout in the Plaza including access to a disabled toilet. There is a lift to the first floor to the auditorium, upper foyer, cafe/bar and upstairs toilets. The Stag Café offers light refreshments between Monday to Saturday 10am-5pm and is part of KCC’s breast-feeding friendly campaign.
  • The Stag Art Wall: Artists are invited to display their work free on the art wall in the cafe. Contact summer.gilmore@stagsevenoaks.co.uk for further details.
  • Hire: The theatre, cinema, Plaza, cafe and additional meeting rooms are all available for hire for performances, business events and private functions. Capacity seating: Theatre 450, Cinema Screen 1, 128 seats + 1 wheelchair, Screen 2, 110 + 1 wheelchair, Plaza 150 (300 standing), cafe 90, meeting rooms 10-30.   • Support Us
    Donations The Stag is a charity and receives virtually no local authority funding support. If you would like to make a donation to help develop the theatre, please give us a call on 01732 451548 Thank you.
  • Stag Volunteers The theatre relies heavily on the hard work of its volunteers whose jobs include front of house, bar and kiosk as well as back office and back-stage.   • Friends of Stag The FoS helps raise money for much-needed items for the theatre. Annual membership is available and Friends of Stag receive free visits to the cinema, discounts on shows, entrance to prize draws and invitations to fundraising events. www.friendsofstag.org.uk

  • Getting Here
    The Stag Community Arts Centre London Road, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN13 1ZZ
  • Location The Stag Theatre is conveniently located in the centre of Sevenoaks and can be found next to the post office on London Road, parallel to the High Street.
  • Parking There is pay and display car parking at the rear. This car park can become busy on show nights so please allow enough time to park. There are a number of additional car parks in the centre of Sevenoaks and within a short walk of the theatre. Download the parking app (search: Sevenoaks Parking) to get maps and live updates for spaces..
  • Public transport The theatre is a fifteen minute walk from Sevenoaks train station. www.nationalrail.co.uk. Sevenoaks bus station is a short walk to the theatre. The town is served by Go Coach, Arriva & Metrobus.

  • When do you open?
    The Stag is open seven days a week (except Christmas Day)
    Monday to Saturday: 10am to 8pm
    Sunday: 12pm to 8pm

  • What payment methods and credit/debit cards do you accept?
    Tickets can be booked online, on the telephone or in person. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Solo and Electron (in person only).
  • How do I know if my booking is confirmed?
    Shortly after booking via our website you will receive a confirmation email and your e-tickets in a second email. Please do be careful when making your purchase and enter your email address carefully. Unfortunately the Stag cannot be responsible for mistakes you make when buying tickets. If you do not receive both confirmation emails, please contact our Box Office team who will be able to assist.
  • Why isn’t my address recognised?

  • When will I receive my ticket?
    Tickets are available for collection from our Box Office when booked by telephone. Bookings made on line are sent immediately by email. Please do be careful when making your purchase and enter your email details carefully. Unfortunately the Stag cannot be responsible for mistakes you make when buying tickets. For security and to ensure you receive your tickets prior to the event, we do not send tickets via post.
  • How do I use my e-tickets?
    You can print out your eTicket but why not save paper and ink and show them on your smart phone/tablet to a member of staff.
  • What ID is acceptable?
    The Stag Community Arts Centre will only admit customers to films in accordance with the certification assigned by the British Board of Film Classification and we are required to check the age of anyone who looks (or we believe may be) underage. If you look younger than the age required for a film you may be asked to provide identification. We are unable to accept any individual’s word on their age or the age of someone in their party. If you cannot prove your age and we believe you to be underage we regret you will not be allowed entry.
    Acceptable ID must include a photo and should be one of the following: Current passport (or a clear copy of one), Photo driving licence, Student Card/School Pass (with a photo and date of birth), a ValidateUK card, or age related scheme (such as the UK PASS Scheme card or Citizen Card).
  • At what age is an adult/senior citizen?
    Adult tickets apply for those aged 18 and above (cinema only). Senior citizen discounts can be given to a customer aged 65 and over.
  • Can I take my baby into the theatre/cinema?
    Babes are welcome to family performances. Children under the age of 12months will be admitted free of charge to family shows if seated on carer’s lap. Please be prepared to take your child out of the auditorium/cinema if they cause a disturbance to other members of the audience. The Parent and Baby cinema club runs every Tuesday at 10:30am. A performance with lower volume, brighter lighting and other people in the same situation – so no need to remove babies that cry!
  • When can I book for Bargain Wednesday?
    Cinema screenings for Wednesday can be booked in advance, however to receive the Bargain Wednesday special offer tickets will need to be purchased on the day.
  • Do you screen 3D films?
    We screen 3D films which will require 3D glasses. Reusable 3D glasses can be purchased from the Box Office for £1.50.
  • What if I’m running late?
    Latecomers will only be admitted at the discretion of the Front of House Manager and then only at a suitable break in the performance.
  • Can I leave my buggy somewhere?
    We are sorry that we do not unfortunately have any storage facilities for prams, buggies or shopping.
  • Can I buy gift vouchers?
    Stag gift vouchers are available for the cinema, Stag Theatre and Stag Plaza events. Theatre Tokens are available for live performances and can be purchased from the Box Office if you want to buy several tickets at once but don’t know what you want to see. The transaction fee will only apply once you buy the vouchers not when you book a ticket. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for Stag Selected screenings. All vouchers can only be redeemed via our Box Office. For more information please contact our team on 01732 450175.
  • How and when can I use my gift voucher/theatre token?
    You can get either national theatre tokens or Stag Vouchers at the Stag. They can be redeemed at the Box Office at any time.
  • How long are the adverts?
    Unfortunately we are unable to state the running length of cinema adverts as this varies per screening.
  • Can I /How do I hire the cinema/theatre/space for shows, private parties or business meetings?

  • Why do I pay a transaction charge?
    The transaction charge pays for the box office service you receive seven days per week, 364 days per year – we only close on Christmas Day. The charge covers cash and card handling, installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, printing, telephone lines and the cost of the people who serve you in person, by telephone and the support for on-line transactions. The Stag has to follow Government rules and only applies a single fee irrespective of the number of tickets you buy or the way in which you pay.
  • How do I become a volunteer?
    We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team. You can contact Mary our volunteer Coordinator (01732 466594 – volunteers@stagsevenoaks.co.uk)
  • Can I change my tickets to another day?
    If you wish to change the date or time of a theatre performance you have booked for another performance of the same show this can be done for a small fee of £1.50 up to 24 hours before the start of the show when contacting our Box Office team. If you wish to change the date or time of a cinema ticket this can be done for a small fee of £1.50 up to just 2 hours before the start of the film through our Box Office team. We regret we cannot change tickets for a different show or film.
  • I can no longer come to an event, do I get a refund?
    Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged after purchase except where an event is cancelled by the Stag for reasons within its control.
  • What day do you announce new film listings?
    New film listings go on sale on every Monday. For the latest information sign up for our cinema newsletter.
  • Do you show special screen/event/art house cinema?
    The Stag does screen special interest and Event Cinema content as part of our Stag Select season. Please sign up for our cinema email here to receive weekly screening information
  • Is the Stag wheelchair friendly?
    Full details on our access facilities can be found above.

 

Access Information

• The Stag is pleased to offer a maximum of two wheelchair spaces in the main theatre which are located along row A.

It is essential to pre-book wheelchair spaces and to arrive in sufficient time to be in the auditorium for the performance.

Please call our Box Office team who will assist you with your booking.

• One necessary companion will be admitted free to most performances with appropriate documentation.

• Level access to cinema screens one and two, with one wheelchair spaces available in each screen.

• Lift access from ground floor to main theatre, theatre bar/Stag Café.

• Fully accessible toilets can be found on both floors.

• Ground floor access to the Stag Plaza.

• Level counter in Stag Plaza.

• Guide and registered assistance dogs are welcome at the Stag.

 

  • Do you provide wheelchairs?
    Unfortunately we are unable to provide wheelchairs.
  • Where is the nearest car park?
    There are a number of car parks in Sevenoaks Town including a pay and display car park in South Park directly behind the Stag. Full details of car parking in Sevenoaks Town can be found here
  • Do you provide booster seats?
    The Stag provides booster seats for both screens which can be found outside each screen.
  • How can I get to the Stag?
    Train: Approx 1km from Sevenoaks railway station. Turn right out of the station and head towards Sevenoaks town.
    Bus: Sevenoaks is served by a number of bus operators for bus details call Travelline on 0871 2002233.
    Car: We are at TN13 1ZZ, just 10 minutes from the M25.
